One is the outward form Big Box. It was determined as the maximum volume possible from the budget with local details for withstanding heavy snow without maintenance in the winter, when the cottage becomes isolated. The big volume also enables comfortable stay in the summer.

This new Tokyo home locates in the central area with high density. The client manages the food company and owns the factory that is adjoining to the house.
The house locates in the high density’s area in Tokyo. The exterior form with a staircase pattern was decided by the severe height limit by the building standards law. In this house, the client had many books.
Urbis is an exhibition and museum venue in Manchester, England, designed by Ian Simpson and completed in 2002. From 2002 to 2010, the centre hosted changing exhibits on popular-culture themes including urban living, art, music, fashion, photography and videogames alongside talks, gigs and special events.
Corn Exchange, Manchester is a grade II listed building. The building was originally used as a corn exchange and was previously named the Corn & Produce Exchange, and subsequently The Triangle.
The house locates in front of the spacious rice fields. We designed it in consideration of the relation between the rich environment and the client’s life. Three small huts are put on the flat house of the ground floor.
