Tsumari House, Tokamachi Cottage, Nigata, Japan

One is the outward form Big Box. It was determined as the maximum volume possible from the budget with local details for withstanding heavy snow without maintenance in the winter, when the cottage becomes isolated. The big volume also enables comfortable stay in the summer.

Crucible Theatre Sheffield Snooker Venue

The Crucible Theatre opened in 1971, replacing the Playhouse Repertory theatre in Townhead Street. World Snooker Championships venue, building Grade II listed in 2007. It was built by M J Gleeson.

Sheffield Town Hall, Yorkshire Civic Building

The building is used by Sheffield City Council, and also contains a publicly displayed collection of silverware. The current building, Sheffield’s fourth town hall, is located on Pinstone Street.

This is a late-Victorian neo-Gothic building on Deansgate in Manchester city centre. The library, which opened to the public in 1900, was founded by Enriqueta Augustina Rylands in memory of her husband, John Rylands.

Urbis Manchester Conference Centre

Urbis is an exhibition and museum venue in Manchester, England, designed by Ian Simpson and completed in 2002. From 2002 to 2010, the centre hosted changing exhibits on popular-culture themes including urban living, art, music, fashion, photography and videogames alongside talks, gigs and special events.

Corn Exchange, Manchester is a grade II listed building. The building was originally used as a corn exchange and was previously named the Corn & Produce Exchange, and subsequently The Triangle.
