New Gagosian Gallery in Mayfair, London Design: TateHindle. Westminster City Council has granted planning consent for the recladding and remodelling of 20 Grosvenor Hill. The building is owned by Grosvenor Britain & Ireland (Grosvenor), which was assisted with its planning application by architects TateHindle.
The ‘Kensal Voices’ project focuses on the heritage of historic council estate Kensal House. This large, Grade II* listed building in North Kensington, Kensal House was designed by modernist architect Maxwell Fry as a symbol of progression and hope.

Rock Ventures selects SHoP Architects as the architect of record to lead the design process for the 2-acre site of the former Hudson’s Department Store in downtown Detroit. SHoP will partner with Hamilton Anderson Associates to create an innovative concept for a signature development on Woodward Avenue in the heart of Detroit’s Central Business District.
Roominaroom – a highly sculptural refurbishment of a Limehouse (London) flat – all done with a CNC-carved kit of timber parts. It has recently won a UK Wood Award in the Small Project category. The judges praised its “beautiful curves and delicate stairs” and called it a remarkable, ingenious jewel.
Indeed, this is an excellent, creative piece of work, using the warmth and suppleness of wood to make a delightful interior.
