Design: Architekti Šebo Lichý. A family home located on a steep, narrow slope in a densely built-up area. The house artfully fits into the hillside to fully utilize the possibilities of the space, offering panoramic views of the city.
Design: Richard Lindvall. Interior for celebrated restaurateurs Tim Karlsson and Michael Andreasson. The building was used by the Swedish Tax Agency: a maze of tiny meeting rooms with low ceilings were stripped out, removing any trace of the old bureaucrats.
Design: NAN Arquitectos. This architectural interior was based around La Torta, a typical Galician sweet, as an area to buy or take away “La Torta”, as well as a space to accompany this product with a coffee or a soft drink.
Design: BAREA + PARTNERS, architects. A radical modification at the top of an apartment tower of the Levante coast creates a new space that turns to the sea: it immerses the flat in the aura of tranquility of the coast.
Design: Matt Gagnon. Commissioned by the Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs to create public art for the LA Fire Department’s Air Operations facility, this is a sculptural installation located at the Van Nuys Airport in California.
Design: Lang Architecture. Encompassing 131 acres of lush Catskills forest this project features 26 architect-designed dwellings meticulously crafted from locally-sourced, sustainable materials. The two-story, 2,800-sqft model residence uses distinctive wood details throughout.
Design: Atelier Jérôme Lafond. The Festival des Architectures Vives raises public awareness of the wide range of architecture. It highlights the work of a young generation of architects, landscape architects and urban planners, but also seeks to discover unexpected urban areas.
Design: Orange Architects. Ten luxurious apartments, on top of a double-height commercial plinth – ultimately suitable for a nice club or restaurant – on the shore line of Limassol, Cyprus. Closed competition winner, commissioned by Masharii & The Land.
Design: Swatt | Miers Architects, USA. In addition to passive strategies, the house uses a hydronic system to provide both radiant space heating as well as hot water, and high efficiency cooling equipment provides air conditioning in the summer.
Design: Gijs Van Vaerenbergh. The installation invites the spectator to walk through one kilometre of steel corridors. A series of Boolean transformations create spaces and perspectives that reinterpret the traditional labyrinth
Design: Studio Libeskind, architects / H2a. Conceived as a new architectural landmark for Mons, the new convention center is a key element in a plan for economic revitalization, and serves as a connector between the old and the new.
Design: Truong An architecture – House for an artist, the building had to be harmonic with nature and his pets: a beautiful dog, a naughty cat, birds, a friendly pig and a turtle – regarded as his ‘friends’.
Design by Chad Oppenhiem Architect, USA. Also known as the Ark, this three-level, single-family residence is located on the Atlantic Ocean. The property features 9,000 sqft of interior space with 3,000 sqft of ocean-view terraces, a lap pool, pool cabana, a two-car garage and an elevator.
Design: RLP Rüdiger Lainer + Partner. Vienna – Due to its setting on the urban fringe, the project layout is based on a small-scale transition between urban and rural areas.
