A new entrance atrium organises arrival off a soon to be completed public square that addresses the city and suggests the importance of this building not just to staff and students but to the wider local community.
Beyond this important arrival, beautifully detailed teaching spaces lend light through generous windows to bright corridors. Wherever possible, in the most public rooms such as the Library, the carefully shaded picture windows are complemented by clerestories that throw light deep into the plan whilst borrowing glimpses of sky and city.
