Outer Crescent House Bayside
Design: Merrylees Architecture. Outer Crescent House is situated in the Bayside suburb of Brighton, tucked behind the busy Bay St retail quarter. The property was an overlooked transition site measuring a mere 345 sqm, between a commercial warehouse, a lane to the rear of the Bay St shops.
Spitbank Fort Building Conversion
Design: PLC Architects. Set in the Solent, a historically important strait separating the Isle of Wight from the Great Britain mainland, Spitbank Fort is a Victorian sea fort built on a circular base 50m in diameter

Design: The Buchan Group / CallisonRTKL, architects. The first stage of Chadstone’s $660 m redevelopment unveiled. A striking 7000 sqm grid shell roof presents a milestone in structural design innovation as it arches 30m over the atrium.
Annie Residence in Austin, House in Texas
Design by Bercy Chen Studio Architects – this Texas house was built for two families in Austin and therefore is split into two living areas. The TX home consists of two pavilions connected by a glass hallway.
Urban Villa Hotel London, Brentford
Design: Grzywinski+Pons. A 100 room hotel in west London, a hybridization of a boutique hotel offering and an aparthotel — two programs that generally are mutually exclusive. The architects’ brief was to bring a design-led bespoke hospitality feel to a product that is traditionally anything but.
Podkowa Lesna Residence, Poland
Design: Jakub Szczęsny architects. A triangular, forested plot in one of pre-war garden cities around Warsaw. The house had to retain existing trees by fitting around them.
The Kite House in Melbourne, Residence
Design: Architecture Architecture. Drawing near to the doorway of Kite House, the visitor is welcomed by pockets of shade nestled among sheltering brick walls. A vast pivot window and a large pivot door throw themselves wide open, exposing the full throat of the house to the garden.
