Science City is the development vision for the university campus of the 21st century. The board of governors of the Eidgenössische Technische Hochschule in Zurich (Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich, or ETH Zurich) formulated a strategic vision as the basis for current and future developments.
Design: Ian Simpson Architects. The stunning Ian Simpson design will feature five towers from 13 to 49 storeys along with a new river walkway, ‘coffee pods’ and raised gardens suspended above shops, restaurants and offices. There are also plans for local amenities to include a dentist and a doctor’s surgery.
